The Barn to the right of the church has been tastefully restored and modernised to provide a versatile and safe community facility for the Warndon Villages.
The Barn and the Upper Room are available for hire either separately or together by groups and individuals at competitive rates, please find contact details in the box on the right.
Please find below some details of the barn. If you have a broadband connection then you might like to view a slide show of the barn from the menu above.
The addition of the porch and toilets, including a disabled friendly toilet with nappy changing table, leads to the main room.
The main room can accommodate 30 to 40 people sitting or standing. The doors at the end are a store room on the left for adult size chairs and on the right a small meeting room for six or seven people and the store of childrens chairs. To the right when you enter the main is a small well equiped kitchen
The upper room and the barn are available for hire either separately or together by groups or individuals at competitive rates. It may be accessed by use of the outside stairs and can accommodate 10 to 12 people.
Please take care on the stairs especially in icy weather.
There are several strategically placed fire extinguishers and a fire blanket and first aid box just inside the kitchen on the left. If you use your own electrical equipment, for insurance purposes it must have been tested for safety by a qualified electrician. Many of the plug sockets have guards that must be replaced after use.
The main room floor has been specially treated and is kept in good condition using then mop and floor spay kept in the kitchen and a dust pan and broom kept in the store room .
The best time to view the barn is on a Sunday morning from around 11:00am to mid day when it is open for morning coffee after the church service.
The Barn may be hired by groups and individuals at competitive rates, please find contact details in the box on the right.
